Girls Performances
After a weekend of blazing times, there's certainly no doubt that the sprint squad from Southeast Raleigh has been putting in work! While the Lady Bulldogs did occupy many of the top spots in the sprints, there were quite a few strong performances from other schools as well. Though the distance races and field events were not stacked as well as the sprints, the distance events -- particularly the 1000m -- still saw some PR's and breakthrough performances. Boys Performances
On the boys' side of the competition, we saw several wins on the track and in the field that were a mere hair apart; in several other events, however, there was a clear winner soaking up the spotlight. Just as in the girls competition, many of the strong performances of the weekend came from the sprint events, but our jumpers and throwers made some big marks as well.
