Weekend 4 didn't have a large number of premier invites, but the ones that NC did host were huge! The adidas XC Challenge saw some amazing performances in both the Boys and Girls Championship races, but, surprisingly enough, the fans saw things a bit differently when it came to the boys' competition. Nonetheless, the staff here at NC Runners cast their votes as well and have created a staff/viewer divide. Will next week's votes be more unanimous, or will we see another split ticket? Stay tuned throughout the weekend to help us decide!
Girls Performances of the Week
Nevada Mareno has dropped the hammer this cross country season to show us that she doesn't just belong on the indoor track. She continues her undefeated streak, and she's run in some of the state's biggest, most competitive races. Not to be undermined, Brittany Stanley has also had a strong, undefeated season thus far. With both girls being in separate classifications, this week's votes when to two of the state's potential 2015 XC champions.

Boys Performances of the Week
In each of the polls which Jack Cawley has been entered, he's come out with the highest number of votes among the fans. Middle Creek definitely has some intense voting power, but the votes certainly aren't unwarranted with such a strong athlete leading the way for the team. The NC Runners staff went a different way with their votes this week, having a great appreciation for the major race Connor Lane dropped at Wake Med this past weekend.
