On almost any other weekend, the Hare & Hounds Invitational would be the biggest meet in North Carolina. It's certainly boasts the largest collection of private-school talent of any regular-season meet, falling just short of the NCISAA State Meet (which is at McAlpine this year, and that's part of the reason why numbers are so high for this year's edition).
