Boys Distance Races

It's unlikely that anyone is going to stop Philip Hall (South View, above) in the 1600 or 3200, although it is interesting that he opted for the longer race instead of the 800. Hall comes in with a 1600 best of 4:13 that gives him a 9-second advantage over anyone else, but there should be an intense race for second (5 runners have clocked times between 4:22 and 4:24). In the 3200 it could be closer, as Kyle Christ (West Johnston) and Kenny Kneisel (Mount Tabor) have run within 10 seconds of Hall's 8:59 PR. Without Hall to challenge him, Vincent Crisp (North Mecklenburg) could run away from the 800 field, although Jackson Denton (New Hanover) did drop a 1:54 out of nowhere earlier this season.
