Last year, David Oliver reached out to the folks at JDL Fast Track and asked if he could become involved with the invitational that was already on the schedule for January 24th. The World Champion and Olympic Bronze Medalist wanted to promote the sport he loves, and his presence at the meet elevated a regular invitational into something special. This year David was back to interact with athletes and fans (and to serve as starter for the Invitational Hurdle races), and the addition of 8 Invitational events to the meet added another dimension. Now, in only its second year, the David Oliver Classic can legitimately claim to be one of the biggest and best indoor meets in the Southeast.
