
They ranked 1st and 2nd in the state all season (and all time), and they both wear green. But they haven't raced in 2014 - until Saturday.
Once again, athletes and teams from all over the South descend on North Carolina for the two postseason cross country meets. And once again, North Carolina has teams and athletes that are prepared to compete against the best that the rest of our region has to offer. As our state continues to get stronger and deeper in both genders, the chances of major participation in one of the two national championships increases. It looks like the weather is going to be pretty good, although somewhat cold: the temperature at the time of the national-qualifying races should be in the 40's, but dry and sunny.
