DYLAN FERRIS Runs US #1 in 800

Dylan Ferris of East Forsyth ran the fastest time in the US this outdoor season at the Milestat.com Elite Track Gala. His time of 1:49.27 also breaks the All-Time North Carolina best and he's only a junior. Earlier in the season, Dylan spoke with me and said his goal was to break 1:50. This was just after the Arcadia Invitational where he was leading at 600m, but then tied up.

Dylan looks like he will go into next week's Nike Outdoor National meet ranked #1 in the country and thus the favorite for the national title.
