Andy Wacker ran a smart race at Nike Indoors in the 5k. He allowed the leaders to get away a little bit and then began to chase them down a bit.
Jason Witt of VA ran 15:05 for 1st. Wacker was 15:12.35 and Thomas Porter was 3rd in 15:12.8.
Wacker said he felt under control and ran pretty consistant throughout the entire race.
Sean Sewell of Cardinal Gibbons was through the mile with the leaders in about 4:50, but then fell off a bit. His final time was 15:55.
