Regional Deadline for 3A,4A Schools This Saturday

NCHSAA 3A & 4A regional entries are due this Saturday at 6:00 PM.

  • Do not wait until the last minute!  Enter your athletes during the week in case you encounter any problems (see below).

  • Check out these tutorials for extra help.

  • NCRunners webmaster Jeff George will be available for technical help Friday evening and Saturday morning, but will not be available Friday afternoon and evening due to a family commitment.

Only verified results can be used for regional entries.

  • These come from properly-formatted results only - see the NCHSAA requirements for results reporting (under "Number of Regular Season Contests."

  • You cannot "type in" any performances for regional qualifying.

  • Results that you entered through your team's schedule page are not verified and cannot be used for regional entry.

  • Properly posted and processed results will show on your team page under Schedule/Results and Season Bests, and will show in the rankings.

If your team's results are not posted on NCRunners:

  • Responsibility for submitting results falls on the meet host, unless another arrangement is made between the participating schools.

  • Contact the host school - and let your AD know that the host has not met the results reporting requirement.

  • If you have a copy of the original results (such as the scorebook or the hand-written heat sheets) you can enter the results into RaceTab yourself.

  • If necessary, contact the NCHSAA regarding non-compliant host schools.

Other common problems with regional entries:

  • Results are posted and performances are showing in the rankings, but when I go to enter the athlete it says there is no qualifying performance.

    • This means the athlete has a duplicate profile.  These happen when a coach adds an athlete that is already on the roster, or through small spelling errors in results.
    • Contact jgeorge@milesplit.com to get the profile merged.
  • Results are posted, but the performances are not showing in the rankings (or on my team page, or on the athlete's profiles).

    • This means the results did not get properly processed.  This can be due to errors in the format of the results (such as missing first names), or could be an oversight.
    • Contact jgeorge@milesplit.com with SPECIFIC DETAILS (including the full names of the affected athletes) to get the issue corrected.
  • I can enter the boys, but it won't let me enter the girls (or vice versa).

    • When you first entered the meet, you only clicked on one gender.
    • From the meet entry screen where the events are listed, look for the link (on the right) that says "Edit Divisions Entered."
