After a successful XC season, Dakota Lowery has high expectations for indoor and outdoor track. Dakota was originally scheduled to run at the Eastern High School Challenge in North Carolina Friday and Saturday. However, this is an opportunity that can't be missed.
Coach Patrick Shaw of West Johnston had this to say, "We have decided to go to NY for the New Balance Games that are at the Amory, to run the mile. This will be a great experience for him, and I just flet it would be unfair to make him pass it up, even though missing the meet is Chapel Hill is difficult. We just found out yesterday morning, which makes it very rushed, but we are going to try to make it happen."
