The championship atmosphere of this meet has made it popular among large programs and those with talented young runners.
While the NCRunners Elite meets are on hiatus this year, the Frosh/Soph Invitational goes on. The meet has become a popular way for the state's younger runners to gain recognition, and many teams use it as a season-ending, championship-style meet for athletes that might not get to race in the conference meet and beyond. Here are the important details about the meet:

Entries: through MileSplit registration, which opens September 1st.

Each team can have unlimited entries

$60 per school ($30 per gender, all races)

$40 for frosh/soph races only ($20 per gender)

$20 for junior/senior races only ($10 per gender)

$5 per individual athletes (for less than a full team of 5 in any race
