This fall the NCHSAA 2A team title race at one point looked like it was solely North Lincoln's year to reassert their NCHSAA 2A dominance. The Knights were in 2A three years ago before having a stint in 3A, but they were a powerhouse while in 2A previously. First Flight boys have emerged onto the scene as their 3 through 6 runners have all broken 17 minutes closing the gap to Skylar Stultz and Zach Hughes who were frontrunners for them at the beginning of the year. Can any other NCHSAA 2A programs contend with North Lincoln and First Flight for podium spots this fall?
