Cuthbertson standout Sarah LaTour has dropped a commitment to continue her cross country and track career at NC State University. LaTour is currently ranked #2 in North Carolina at 18:12 and is currently the top senior girl in North Carolina.
LaTour broke out on the track last springs setting PRs of 2:18, 4:59 and 10:55. LaTour ended the season as the NCHSAA 3A 1600 and 3200 state champion unleashing what has turned into her signature lethal kick.
LaTour has only lost once this cross country season and is undefeated against all in state competition.

LaTour currently is the favorite to win the NCHSAA 3A Cross Country Individual crown this fall as she also hopes to lead her Cuthbertson teammates to team title as well. Both LaTour as an individual and Cuthbertson as a team were second overall last fall.
