Will David Melville Be Able To Make It 3 Straight NCHSAA 3A State Titles?

As a sophomore David Melville (Northern Guilford) won his first NCHSAA 3A Individual Cross Country State Championship.  As a junior he was able to defend.  But this will be his toughest test yet with Mechael Moerk (Mount Tabor), Cameron Ponder (Mount Tabor), Ben Verchick (Union Pines) and Gavin Mouat (South Iredell) having strong starts to the season.  Melville currently holds the fastest time in 3A at 15:13.
