She kicked off her season with a Mile PR at the Adidas Raleigh Relays Dream Mile Qualifier where she took third converting to 4:57.41 for 1600 meters. She also proved to be one of the top 800 meter runners in North Carolina running 2:14.64 helping lead her Chapel Hill teammates to their schools first ever 4x800 State Title!
Isabel Zimmermann (Reagan) emerged as a dominant distance runner winning two outdoor and one indoor individual state title this season over 1600 & 3200 meters. She also was very solid in the 800 running 2:17.50 while it wasn't one of her focuses this season. Fisher was the NCHSAA 3A Sate Champion this season over 800 meters.
