Top 200 Boys Freshman Class Rankings

Mark Alkins (Durham Academy) showed a lot of success on the track as an 8th grader running 1:58 in the 800 and that translated very well on the XC course this fall.  Alkins took 9th finishing as Durham Academy's top man at the NCISAA 3A State Championships running 16:56!  Alkins eclipsed the 17 minute barrier 4 times over the course of his freshman season, and is the top freshman in the NCISAA as well.  His only trailed A.C. Reynold's Dwayne Lille and Thomas Vo of Green Hope in the freshman class rankings!
