North Carolina had four athletes that got the invite to attend Brooks PR out in Washington this Saturday. Lauren White (Rolesville) in the 100, Jayquan Williams (Green Hope) in the 800 and Daniel Estrada (Northwest Guilford) and Kadarius Lotharp (Sun Valley).
Lauren White (right) was able to finish 4th against a strong 100 meter field running 11.84. White caps off an excellent season with Rolesville and holds the top mark in NC on the year in the 100 of 11.46. We spoke with her about her experience and her senior track season.
How was your overall experience on your trip out to Brooks PR?
My overall experience was great ! It was really nice getting to know other athletes that are also the nations best. We all began to learn about each other which eventually brought on a family feeling.
