The opening month of the indoor season went out with a bang on Saturday, as the NCRunners Holiday Invitational was the first major indoor high school meet on the state's calendar. Although there are really only three states that are really deep into their competitive indoor season so far (NC, NY, and VA), North Carolina's top athletes have used Saturday's strong competition to set the bar really high for the rest of the nation. That's especially true on the girls' side, where NC recorded six US #1 marks, but the noteworthy performances don't stop there!
