Sara Platek crossed the finish line in 17:50.90 on Saturday, the third fastest time in Hagan Stone Park history.  Sara Platek's pony tail crossed the finish line in 17:51.10, good for fourth all-time.  OK, I made that last part up, but there is no shortage of photos of the Ragsdale sophomore with hair soaring magnificently behind her.  Having remarked upon the springy locks of some male runners in the past (Craig Engels comes to mind), I would be remiss if I did not point that out.  Plus, I'm running out of great things to say about Platek, who continues to light it up this season.  In this race, she took command over the isolated middle portion of the course, pulling away steadily for a 33-second lead at the finish.  As we discussed during her interview, she has been grinding through the race-heavy portion of her season,...
