Mitchell Resor rose steadily throughout the race to claim the win and lead his team to a commanding victory.

Boys Individual Race

As the gun went off Alex Cornwell of Hickory Ridge, Mitchell Resor of Weddington, and Elijah Inuwa of CATA immediately went to the front and took out the pace.  Cornwell began to pull ahead by 10 or 15 meters for most of the race. Resor stalked behind until a later in the race.  Weddington teammates, Ryan Hobbs, Colton Jordan, and Alex Hazan were a little behind Resor with Jack Ratterree, of Charlotte Latin, and Inuwa.  As the leaders entered the second loop Resor had creeped up and began running stride for stride with Cornwell as the made their way to the final 300 meters on the track.  But, on the bridge Cornwell fell down allowing Resor to pull away for the win ...
