Final Girls All-Classes Team Rankings

After an entire season of head-to-head results and rankings, it is almost impossible to separate these two teams.

Author's Note: Unlike the rankings produced during the season, which were based solely on times, this final list takes several factors into account.  I started with the team rankings from the database, then factored in head-to-head races from the state meet (and occasionally from other races, with a bias toward championship and other late-season meets).  I also considered certain extenuating circumstances (injuries, the possibility of one bad race at the state meet, etc).  I am sure that many of my loyal readers will find grounds to quibble with some of the placements (feel free to do so to your heart's delight in the forum), but I feel this is a solid ranking that encapsulates the season well.  I hope you enjoy it!

1. Cardinal Gibbons and Green Hope (tie)

These two teams battled head-to-head several times this year; Green Hope won some early races, but Cardinal Gibbons won their last face-off at the NCRunners Elite Invitational. On the day of the state meet, running in separate races, they graded out only 4 points apart.  This proved impossible to separate for me, as I could find strong evidence in favor of each team, and so the issue ends in a deadlock.  Call it a cop-out if you will, but I think this is the correct result.
