Jentzen Jones took a break from her studies (and her training) to take some pictures and videos at the Jungle Run.
This past Saturday at the Jungle Run, former Fike athlete Jentzen Jones (now at NC State) became the first collegiate guest reporter for NCRunners. She did a great job, getting a montage of videos from behind the scenes and conducting featured interviews with the winners of the championship races. In fact, it went so well that I am looking to extend the idea to other meets this season. So all you former high school runners who are now in college, whether you're still competing or focusing on your eduction, if you think you can do a good job with a camera and want to get involved, send me an email! Guest reporters can take behind-the-scenes or "sidelines" videos and photos and interview athletes, and I think this will add an excellent new dimension to our coverage of this great sport.
