Even though the meet is held at Spring Valley High School in South Carolina, you could argue that the Taco Bell Invitational is the biggest meet of the regular season for North Carolina track athletes. The event draws many of our top athletes every year and pits them against talent from Normally, I would share with you my thoughts on the North Carolina athletes that are most likely to make a big impact at the meet, but in this case there is someone with a better perspective. I defer to Kevin Shaw, currently a coach at Watauga, who has been affiliated with the Taco Bell Invitational for many years and has a great feel for the overall level of talent at the meet.
