Six Impressions From Providence Invitational

Lincoln Charter Boys Are Legit

It seemed to be a big battle in the Invitational Race between 1A powerhouses Lincoln Charter and Bishop McGuinness.  Bishop was without the majority of their top 7 saving the battle for another day.  But Lincoln Charter was strong while also being shorthanded.  The finished 2-7-11-15 through their top 4 boys. They were without Curtis Herms and Jonas Guffey who were the teams #2 and #5 runners last year.  Lead by Drew Zink up front who ran 16:35 and with 4 boys already under 18 they lock themselves in as serious contenders for the NCHSAA 1A Team Title.
