The Southern Nash Alum. is having great success thus far in the outdoor season.  His junior outdoor season started out with a bang with a 3:48 1500 at the Charlotte 49er Classic where he finished 2nd.  He answered some questoins about his collegiate career and what his future goals and plans are.

You opened up your outdoor season with a 3:48 1500 at the Charlotte 49er Classic, how did it feel to drop a 15 second PR in your first race of the season?

It felt amazing crossing the line and seeing 3:48. I was not expecting that at all but I was expecting me to blow my previous PR out of the park. My training and how my body feels, I knew that I would not have a problem running my fastest time and finally breaking the school record. The only concern was that I was having migraines and getting sleepy from not sleeping for 3 days for a pharmacy exam that day.

Did you know that you were capable of posting that kind of time?
I did not think I would run that time this early on the season...
