Arcadia Invitational Preview

Kenny Kneisel (Mt. Tabor) looks to improve on his 8:57 from Raleigh Relays two weeks ago.  He is in the fastest heat, which is normally won in under 8:50 and almost the whole field dips under the 9 minute barrier.  North Carolina boys have done really well in this race in recent years, and Kneisel has the stated goal of breaking Matt Debole's Mount Tabor school record - which would put him very close to the state record, as well!

Elly Henes (Green Hope) is entered in the 3200 as well and will also be in the fastest section.  She has been flirting with the 10:30 barrier for her last 4 3200s all falling under 10:35.  Hopefully the speed of the field will bring her to a really fast PR as I'm sure shes expecting!

Parkland sends its top squad out to California to compete in many relay events and individual events highlighted by McKinley McNeill and Lorenzo Graise in the 400.  McNeill is in the Elite 400 section while Graise is in the regular 400 sections.  Their Mustang girls squads are entered in the Invitational 4x100 and 4x400.  They've had great success against the competition out West in recent years.
