XC Preview: NCISAA 3A By Conference

PACIS Girls

Teams to Watch

Forsyth Country Day returns 3 of the top 5 runners in the conference, and that's enough to make the Furies the favorites for the upcoming season. One thing to watch out for: Melissa Zammitti may be back at Davidson Day (where she ran in middle school) after leaving Lake Norman, and that would move the Patriots WAY up the rankings.

Athletes to Watch

Lindsey Ickes (Forsyth Country Day) has the best returning time by a good margin...unless, of course Melissa Zammitti is back at Davidson Day. If so, Zammitti will be the top returner and heavy favorite to win the individual crown. Hayden Hamlett (High Point Christian) may be a sleeper to be in the top 5 in the PACIS this fall after running the #2 times in the 1600 and 3200 during the spring.
