XC Preview: NCISAA 3A By Conference

PACIS Boys

Teams to Watch

Despite losing two talented seniors from their 2014 top 3, Forsyth Country Day still has enough talent back to rank a strong 1st coming into this season. Wesleyan Christian appears to be the only team that's within striking range of the Furies, but there is a lot of ground to be made up: FCD returns 4 of the top 5 runners in the conference.

Athletes to Watch

Even with two senior stars on his team, Ben Mitchell (Forsyth Country Day) was able to crack the top 3 in his freshman season. Expect big things from this youngster over the next 3 years - he is also the top returner in the PACIS in the 1600 and 3200, by VERY large margins. Teammate Joel Schneider was on the verge of breaking 17 last fall, while Connor Taylor will try to bring Wesleyan Christian into contention for the team title.
