We're Bringing the Meet to You, So Bring Your Meet to Ours: Open Your Season with the NCRunners Eastern Tour

NCRunners is sponsoring a series of three meets in the Eastern part of the state, to be held on March 9th - 11th. They might end up being the first competitions of the year, if this weather pattern holds! That's not necessarily a bad thing, though: given the limitations that the weather has imposed on us so far this spring season, these meets could be the perfect opener for your competitive season. Bringing together more teams allows us to provide the correct level of competition for all the athletes, from beginners to elites. Our Eastern Tour also provides these benefits:

Already have a meet scheduled (or rescheduled)? Join it with ours!

We can score any combination of teams separately within the structure of the larger meet. Dual meets, tri meets, quad meets; we can accomodate them all! Your athletes get to participate in a meet that feels like an invitational, with sections that are appropriate to their ability levels, and coaches still get to meet their conference requirements. The best of both worlds!

Online registration through MileSplit.

Coaches have the option to enter their own seed marks for this event, so that they can get their experienced athletes placed into the proper heats. This is also the same system that will be used to enter the regional meets, so new coaches have a chance to learn the ropes, and experienced coaches can use it as an opportunity to get their spring roster in order.

Get FAT for the spring at a reasonable cost.

Rhodes Race Timing will be present at all 3 meets, using FinishLynx timing to get the most accurate possible results from the running events. No more arguing over the validity of hand times - your athletes will know for sure how they stand compared to others around the state. Plus, the top performances will be eligible for NCRunners' published rankings, which do not include hand times. All for just $25 per school, which covers unlimited entries for both genders!

Get exposure for your athletes.

In addition to NCRunners webmaster Jeff George, who will be helping to run the meet and announcing, NCRunners reporters Jentzen Jones and Rodger Shull will be on-site at all three meets to get photos, race videos, and interviews with the top performers. We all know that the Eastern part of our state is underserved - there aren't enough major meets, and dwindling athletic budgets have limited teams' ability to travel to meets in other areas. That's why we're bringing the meet
