Philip Hall Moves to South View

The rising senior is changing uniform colors for 2013-2014, and the outlook for cross country season is drastically altered.

Former Terry Sanford star Philip Hall, the top returner in the state in both cross country and the 3200 outdoors, will be returning to 4A next season - but in an orange-and-black jersey.  Hall and his family have changed residences to live in the South View district, where he will be registering soon.  This decision comes in the wake of the sudden and unexpected death of Coach Al Munoz, Hall's coach since he was 10 years old, although that certainly was not the only factor considered by the family.  Philip himself sent this statement to NCRunners this morning:

My family and I have moved to Hope Mills, NC which is in the South View school district. I will be enrolled at South View High School this year and plan to compete as a South View Tiger. With the passing of Coach Munoz in the spring, my family and I thought it would be in the best interest of my sister and me to relocate. With that being said, I am very appreciative of all the support the students, faculty, and administration at Terry Sanford have shown me the past three years.

This will obviously change the balance of power in the state.  South View was already projected to be the #1 returning team in the state and #17 returning team in the nation (although, with South View's times reflecting many fast courses, you can take those with a grain of salt).  When NCRunners first got wind of the possibility that Hall would relocate to South View, a new set of returning rankings were made with a certain "Mystery Guy" (who has since been deleted) reflected as a member of the Tigers.  Check out the results below.
