The Bruins won ET Beddiingfield's first ever men's Track and Field State Championship. In a field of 3A talented teams, the 4 Horsemen from Wilson's Beddingfield High School, made their present felt. After a long day of unexpected nonsatifactory performances, from the Bruins, their experience and leadership in the 4 x 400 Men's Relay prevailed. The Bruins, who ran in the 2nd Heat of the event, managed to pull off a 2nd place finish. Boys will be led by Middle Distance/Distance runner Patrick Owens, 3 time Conference MVP. Girls will be led by Division I recruit Chelsea Darden. Outlook for season is off to a great start with 4 state qualifiers at the first Indoor Polar Bear Meet for the 2011 season.
