Regional Directors

MileSplit meet registration has already been set up and is open for your regional.  Please go to the meet page on the calendar and verify that the host school is listed correctly, and you have access to the meet manager screen (you have to have claimed the host school).

Important reminders and instructions:

1. Do NOT enter standards for any of the events!  That would block any non-qualifiers who might potentially make the top 12 or 16 for that event.

2. If you have wheelchair event participants in your regional, you need to email Gayle Rich (grich@milesplit.com) to have those added.  If they were added for your regional last year, they might still be there.  She will advise you of how this affects your download procedures.

3. Before the entry deadline, monitor you entries from the Meet Manager screen (click on Entries by Event).  You can even trim down to your final entry list (after the deadline) from this page by rejecting non-qualifiers when appropriate.

4. Downloading the meet from MileSplit after the deadline:
  • Using Hy-Tek: go to the meet page on the calendar, click on Meet Manager, then click on Download to Hytek (on the right side).  Follow the instructions on the resulting screen.
  • Using RaceTab: open RaceTab, click on Download from MileSplit (under Import Meets), then enter the date of the meet and select the correct meet.  Click Next.

5. Seeding the meet using RaceTab: go to the Events tab, then click on Seed (from any event).  You can go through event by event, or choose groups with similar features and then use autopilot.  Once seeded, you can adjust heads by dragging and dropping.  Email me for more help or information on seeding.

6. Exporting advancers:
  • Using Hy-Tek: go to File > Export > Advancers, indicate the top 4, save the file, and email to your state director.
  • Using RaceTab: from the Events tab, click on Export, then click on Hy-Tek.  Make sure Advancers is highlighted in green, then click on Export File.  Save the file, then email to your state director.
