Meet Manager Functions

To access the Meet Manager, you must sign up for MileSplit Meet Registration.

Accessing Meet Manager

1. First, you must be logged in and you have to have claimed either the host school or the timing company that is listed with the meet.

2. Go to the calendar for the correct season, and find the meet.

3. On the meet page, you will see a black bar that says "Meet Manager."  Click on this.

Monitoring the Entry Process

You can check on the progress of entries into your meet through the Meet Manager screen.  Three particular areas will help you:

1. Teams Attending and # Entries: this gives you a quick glance over which teams have entered the meet (shown with a gray background) and which have only scheduled the meet (shown with a gold background).  The number of athletes entered for each team is shown in parentheses, and if your meet has fees those are also shown.

2. Meet Statistics: a summary of the teams and athletes entered.

3. Reports: here you can get detailed breakdowns of the teams and athletes entered.

Communicating with Teams Through Meet Manager

Under the heading "Advanced Functions" there is a link titled "Send Mass Email."  Using the form that comes up when you click that link, you can send a generic email to all schools entered into the meet.  The email will go to the coach who went through the entry process, using the email address that is associated with his/her MileSplit account.

Downloading Entries

Under the heading "Download Entries" you will see several options.  You can download as many times as you want, so feel free to experiment with the process ahead of time.  When you choose an option, you will find directions guiding you through the rest of the download process.

Tips:

In most cases, you do NOT want to use the Download to Hy-Tek: Full Rosters option, as that will bring every athlete from each team's MileSplit roster (not just the ones who are actually entered into the meet).

To download for the newest versions of RaceTab, you actually need to open RaceTab first and work from within that program.

If you have any trouble downloading to RaceTab 3, simply download to RaceTab 2 and then import that file into RaceTab 3 (this has never failed to work for me).

"CSV" stands for comma separated values, and it is a file type that is used by many programs (including spreadsheets and some custom-built entry programs).
