Entry Information:
Team Entry Fee: Only $100 for boys and girls or $50 for a single gender team.
Entries Online: Entries will be done online at NCRunners.com. The entry deadline will be Monday April 3,11:59 PM. THERE WILL BE NO RACE-DAY ADDITIONS TO ANY EVENTS.
o Entries open online Wednesday, February 7, 2017 and close Monday April 3,2017 at 11:59pm.
o You may enter only (1) relay squads for each relay.
o Each athlete may participate in a maximum of four events including relays.
o Entry times and marks should be realistic estimations of what the athlete is capable of on meet day.
Individual Entry Fee: Individuals may enter the meet at a cost of $25.00. For that amount they can participate in up to four (4) events. That athlete must represent their school.
Checks should be made payable to Nash Central Track and Field. You can mail check in advance. Coach Jackson can be reached at jojackson@nrms.k12.nc.us or at 757-696-0584 (Text only. Do not leave voicemail).
This is an entry fee, not a participation fee. If you register and do not show up, your school will be billed.
Important information to know:
Parking: Spectator parking will be in the front and back parking lots. Buses will park on road alongside the softball field and tennis courts, and all alongside Nash Central High School Road. The JROTC will be out to help with parking.
Admission: All spectators will be $7 for adults and $3 for children under 12. Children 5 and under are free.
The Facility: The track and jump areas are rubber. Quarter inch pyramid spikes ONLY.
Throwing Implements: We will have a variety of implements.
No Preliminaries: All marks are finals.
Since there are no finals, all field events participants will be allotted four (3) attempts. The first measurable attempt will be recorded. After that, a standard will have to be met.
The starting height of the High Jump will be 4-00 for girls and 5-02 for boys.
The starting height for pole vault is TBA.
The all thrower relay squads must be comprised of athletes who threw in this meet.
Scoring: The meet will be scored through eight places.
The uniform code may be relaxed at the discretion of the meet director due to weather. A-team relays should match according to the NFHS rules.
Please ask your athletes to clean up your area before you leave.
Results: Will be sent to NCPrepSports.net, NC.MileSplit.com and the Rocky Mount Telegram.
T-Shirts: Invitational t-shirts will be available in a variety of colors for $15-$20
Concessions will be available. No food or drink from the outside will be allowed in.
