Phillip Hall and the Broughton boys showed up in the Championship Boys race to defend their titles and left doing just that, in addition to leaving with two of NC's most impressive races of the weekend. Sara Platek and Alexa King also proved that they are going to be forces in the state moving into the big invitationals coming up in the next few weekends.
One of Virginia's most prolific photographers made the drive down to WakeMed, and posted nearly 4000 photos of the meet.

US #20 ranked Ryen Frazier (Ravenscroft School NC) started her cross country season on Friday running unattached in the college/open race on Friday at the adidas Challenge with a 17:37 5K third place finish at WakeMed.
The PIAA Foundation Invitational will be huge! George School will have its largest meet in their 62 year history!
All eyes will be on Phillip Hall and Sara Platek as they attempt to continue their dominating seasons - this time with tough out-of-state competition.
