Distance: 5K & Fastest Family Competition, plus 1 Mile Fun Run
Location: Shawsville High School
Date: Monday, July 4th, 2005
Time: Registration from 6:30 until 7:45. Race starts at 8:00 a.m.
Entry Fee: Pre-registration before July 1st, $13.00. On race day, $15.00.
T-shirt to all paid entrants.
Awards: Trophies to 1st, 2nd & 3rd place overall for men & women
Medals to 1st, 2nd & 3rd place in all age groups (5K only)
Plaque to the Fastest Family (3 immediate family members, scored by age group)
Ribbons to 1st, 2nd & 3rd for registered male and female Fun Runners
Age Same age groups for both males & females
Groups: 12 & under 30 to 34 50 to 54
13 to 17 35 to 39 55 to 59
18 to 22 40 to 44 60 to 64
23 to 29 45 to 49 65 to 69
70 & over
Course: The course is exactly the same as it has always been. Mostly level, it starts
east of Shawsville Middle School and follows Old 460 west. It then loops onto New 460 for the return leg, finishing downhill. Water at 1.5 miles.
