Cuthbertson Girls' Relay Team Gets State Title
The Cuthbertson High School girl's indoor track team recently won the state championship in the 4-by-400-meters.
The relay team was Mikaela Siebert, Veronica Pfaff, Raven Covington and Nikolete Hurrinus.

West Charlotte High's Mark Blackmon is used to winning state championships.
Today, he'll try to get in position to win another when West Charlotte's basketball team plays a state semifinal against Davie County at 2 p.m. at the Greensboro Coliseum Special Events Center.

Viking's Thompson Sweeps Jumping Events
White Oak’s Darien Thompson won all three of the jumping events to lead the Vikings to first place over Southwest and Swansboro in a nonconference track and field meet Monday at Swansboro High.
Thompson won the long jump with a leap of 20 feet, 3 inches along with the triple jump at 43-8 and the high jump at 6-2.
WHS Track Produces Four Regional Qualifiers
The Watauga High men's and women's track teams dominated their outdoor meet at Bunker Hill on Thursday. The WHS women won five events and bested the field with 133 points.
