Enloe senior Jonathan Addison has been steadliy moving up the rankings in the field events for the past three years, and this year he is poised to make a name for himself. He is especially strong in the high jump, where his best of 6' 8.5" makes him the top returner in the state and one of the top 25 in the nation. He has high goals for this year (no pun intended), and seems to be working very hard to achieve them. He is also an accomplished long jumper and has dabbled in the triple jump, and he might run some sprint relays from time to time, as well. Jonathan spoke very well in this interview, and he seems like a very intelligent young man who will be a successful collegiate athlete. The high jump can be one of the most exciting events to watch, with the way the height builds and only a few athletes are left to duke it out at the end; watch out for Jonathan at one of the big meets this year!
