We throwback to the 2020 3A Indoor State boys 4x800m duel between Chapel Hill and Weddington. After a strong opening leg in 1:57 Chapel Hill had a two step lead over Weddington. Chapel Hill held on to a spilt lead as they hit the halfway point after Weddington made a pass on the final lap of the second leg. Chapel Hill started to pull away after the third leg but Weddington's Krystopher Durham was closing quickly. The final push by Durham was not enough as Chapel Hill's team of Dylan Look, Max Reisinger, Ben Hawley, and Ethan Mathis claimed the 2020 Indoor 4x800m state title. They will all return for Chapel Hill as they try to capture a 4x800m outdoor title in a few months.
