The John Handley girls went up to Pennsylvania this weekend to compete in the Carlisle Invitational and their top runner Britani Myers had a stellar individual run to place second with a season best time of 19:00. As a freshmen last fall, Myers won the Northwest District title, placed second at the Region II Meet, and earned All-State honors with a 10th place finish in the Group AA race. Behind runner-up Myers, the John Handley girls finished 5th in the championship girls division with 251 points.
