Calli Parlier ranks 4th on the junior class rankings, but at the NCHSAA State Championships she was the fastest junior of all the classes! After a somewhat up and down season for the Apex Junior, Parlier put everything together when it mattered most to take 8th place in a loaded 4A Girls field! Her time of 18:33 was a big PR as she finished one spot ahead of Cardinal Gibbons junior Marissa Bishop. Katherine Dokholyan of Chapel Hill leads the junior class rankings, but took 4th in the NCHSAA 3A State Championships two spots behind Sarah LaTour of Cuthbertson, who comes in at 6th on this list. Mariah Howlett was building up for a fast time all season at the state championships, but a quad injury really held her back and she only ran to try and keep her team in contention for a podium finish. Anna-Kathryn Kilby of Forbush was the 2A State Champion and will be back to defend her title next season after having a huge junior year!
