Coming into the 3A State Championships it looked to be a tight team battle between Chapel Hill and Weddington, but Chapel Hill posted one of the more impressive team performances on the day. They had a 17 second gap from their 1-5 in what was a very decisive win over the Weddington Warriors who took 2nd. Marvin Ridge boys jumped up to 3rd place after taking 4th at the Midwest regional the week before!
