Top 200 NCHSAA 4A Girls Individual Rankings

It's taken a little longer than one might of guessed for the top returner in the nation to takeover the state lead, but yesterday Nevada Mareno took over the top time from Natalie Tyner joining her as the only two girls in NC to break 18 this season.  Mareno has definitely seems to have put her focus on the later part of the season, but ran her second race of the season last night at her final home meet of her career.  She dismantled the field and ran 17:50.

Last year at the CAP 8 Conference Meet is where Mareno really showed how good she was running a 16:36, which is her PR.  I'd keep a look out for those results next week.
