The Jungle Run was a tremendous atmosphere will over 50 teams in attendance racing under the lights!  South View did a tremendous job getting the course prepared and lights up early Saturday morning to accommodate Tropical Storm Hermine.  It is certainly a meet I think everyone should go to at least once in their high school careers, and I certainly look forward to going back next season.




Girls Championship

The field looked to be loaded up front, but three of the top seeds in the race Katherine Dokholyan, Melissa Zammitti, and Sara Platek did not attend.  The race started with a group of three girls who pulled away from the field early on, Clare McNamara (Chapel Hill), Janay Hall (South View), and Natalie Tyner (Laney).  Tyner began to push the pace as Hall and McNamara fell back.  The sophomore Tyner hammered the pace over the last mile and entered the home stretch to see 17:xx on the clock hoping to break 18 minutes.  She got to ...
