Coach Kirk Walsh of Cuthbertson moved up from Cuthbertson's Middle School XC season last year in October and has had great success in his short time as head coach. Something special with the Union County rivalry is that it starts at the middle school level as all three of these programs have a middle school team feeding into the high school program. Walsh has had a lot of success with the middle school team, 4 straight Union County titles with the boys, and looks to do the same with the high school program. Walsh gave us some insight on the current state of the Cavaliers program and where he looks to take it in the future.
