All-Time Raleigh Relays 3200 Performances

The Raleigh Relays is a college meet, but for many years it has also featured a pair of high school 3200 races, held on Friday night to capture cool temperatures.  It is no exaggeration to say that those races have become both iconic and historic to the North Carolina high school track scene: the meet currently accounts for 12 of the top 25 girls times in state history, and until the recent trend of taking top boys to Arcadia began it also dominated their list.  Every year, several runners set marks there that stand up for the rest of the season and remain ranked - 6 of the top 10 boys and 6 of the top 10 girls in the final 2015 rankings posted their PR's in this meet.  The weather, the competition, the setting, and the atmosphere all combine to make this a unique and elite experience, and this year's races are shaping up to be just as outstanding as you would expect!

In honor of the significance of the Raleigh Relays High School 3200's, we've published a set of All-Time Lists taken from the meet's historical results in the MileSplit database.  Who are among the top 50 ever?  See for yourself:
