The Best of Both Worlds: Winter Track Starts while Cross Country Continues

It's time to see throwing, jumping, sprinting, and hurdling again - AND it's also time to see high level cross country running!

In some ways, this is the best time of the year!  Indoor track practices have started, and meets will begin next week - so that means we get to see people actually jumping and throwing, instead of just running.  At the same time, cross country is NOT over yet, with Foot Locker South and NXN Southeast still looming on Thanksgiving Weekend.  That means we have a championship atmosphere going on in one sport, with all of the intensity it brings, as well as a sense of a new beginning in another sport, all at the same time!  Check out our upcoming schedule over the next few weeks to see how we're going to split our time:

This Week:

  • Returning Indoor Track rankings (Mon-Wed)
  • Returning XC Individuals by Grade (Thu-Sun)
  • Dash for Doobie Meet Coverage

Next Week:

  • Returning XC Individuals by Classification
  • Indoor Track Previews by classification
  • Foot Locker South coverage by the NCRunners team (with help from MileStat!)
  • NXN Southeast Regional coverage by the MileSplitMD team

The Week After That:

  • Final XC All-Classes Rankings
  • Cross Country Season Wrap-Up
  • First Winter Track Rankings
