Looking Back on the 2015 Regular Season in Photos and Videos

It's hard to believe that we've already finished the cross country regular season! This was arguably our best fall season ever in terms of meet coverage, as our core group of reporters have been working together for long enough to really begin mastering what they're doing/ So check out the story of the 2015 cross country regular season, before we start looking forward to the rest of Championship Season!

Week 1: The Big Opener

North Carolina starts the cross country season with a bang! Two of the biggest meets of the season fill up week 1 with great performances and exciting coverage.

Week 2: A Singular Event

This is a vacation week for many, but that doesn't stop the state's one major invitational from continuing to roll along.

Week 3: Ramping Up

The intensity of the meets starts to increase, and NCRunners starts to spread out, getting people to more meets across multiple parts of the state.

Week 4: The Record-Setter

NCRunners staff generated our largest amount of photo and video coverage ever, and it wasn't just quantity - with team coverage of the two biggest meets in the state, our subscribers also got a very high quality level.

Week 5: The Rain Begins

Looking back, this was an omen. At the time, though, it was just another Greensboro Invitational with a little bit of ran. Covering the Bo Run for the first time was a big bonus!

Week 6: Washed Away

Ah, the one that got away! This could have been an incredible weekend of races and an equally amazing weekend of meet coverage for us. With two major storm systems converging, though, two major meet directors made the wise decision to cancel. Some of NC dodged the worst of the weather, allowing us to get one meet of coverage in, but the Eastern part of the state and the Charlotte area both got a ton of rain - and our neighbors to the South were devastated.

Week 7: Wrapping Up in Style

It was the largest NCRunners Elite Invitational ever, and the new Ivey Redmon course held up perfectly. This meet always serves as a "practice run" for the state meet, for us as well as the teams that participate, and we all passed this test with flying colors.
