After taking a hiatus in 2014 to attend the DC XC Invite, Green Hope returns to Hagan Stone this weekend.
This weekend might seem like a bit of a lull between Weekend 4, with its pair of up-and-coming invitationals, and the outright insanity of Weekend 6. Don't let that fool you, though - there will be a ton of competitive racing this weekend, on some courses that are more challenging than WakeMed and McAlpine, I might add. The wet conditions might prevent big times, but that's cross country. You can bet the runners that compete today will remember their mud-slogs many years down the line (some of them fondly, and some with a shudder, but still).
