Girls Sprints

Tajah Walston(West Craven) was able to sweep the 100 and 200 on the girls side. She ran 12.47 in the 100, just edging out Taylor Scott(Junior Striders/Wakefield) who ran 12.48. In the 200 she was able to hold off McKinley McNeil(Parkland/Platinum Sports) and Lakeisha Warner (Cary) and she ran 25.02. Jessica Dixon (Broughton/Track Goons) had a great battle with Payton Russell(North Rowan) in the 400 as she ran 56.91 and a NC#11 time.

Girls Distance

Anna Vess (AC Reynolds) was able to win the girls 800 against a fast field that had 8 girls under 2:20. She narrowly edged out Jena Metwalli(Cannon School) with a time of 2:14.37 to Metwalli's 2:14.99 which are good for NC#6 and 7. Julia Brown(Cary) was able to pull away in the 1500 running 4:44.74 which converts to 5:05.67, which would be good for NC#14. And in the 3K Sara Platek(Ragsdale) seems to be back and running health again. She ran 10:01 which is converted ...
